英作文を作成していると名詞の単数形と複数形を間違ってしまうことがよくあります。
誤）You have more possibility than you think.
正）You have more possibilities than you think.
誤）You can not reach your goal sooner than you think.
正）You can not reach your goals sooner than you think.
誤）You face unfair thing more than you think.
正）You face unfair things more than you think.
ネイティブでさえ間違うことがあります。lang-8で「mistake」を添削してもらったときのこと。
２人の外国人の方に添削してもらったのですが複数形の表記が異なっていました。
Mistake is better than you think.
Mistake is are better than you think.
Mistakes is are better than you think.
辞書で調べたところ、「Ｍistake」の複数形は「Mistakes」
